April CLC Meeting Minutes

Please send any corrections for the booklet or anything else to Carol croglee@aol.com ASAP so  we can post on the website.  Publicity will then make a correction page to go in registrants packets.

-Publicity will also make a simplified map of the Crowne Plaza to go in registration packets.

-Sign ups will continue for Registration and Moderating.  Please contact Tom tom.massmann@allina.com if you would like to work the registration desk or Rhonda unterborn.rhonda@mayo.edu if you would like to moderate.  The three co-chairs will moderate the keynotes.

-Rhonda will get in contact with Liz to make sure all PACE stuff comes to her.  Rhonda will be responsible for making copies of the PACE sign ups and evals.  Rhonda- I have 14 envelopes left from last years meeting for moderator packets, the rest we will have to purchase

-Registration needs to get numbers to me by May 5th for room assignments.  Paula needs to send me the daily grids to put the room assignments on.  I will make the appropriate copies.

-I do have some name badge holders from last year, but not enough.  It looks like last year they purchased them cheaper through the visitor bureau.  I will have Paula check with the Chamber of Commerce.

-I do have a box of pens to bring to set at the registration desk.  Edith will check with Fairview for donating extra pens and notepads.  I will also check with the Crowne Plaza.

-Becky will check in with Liz Panning to see if we need to send out an email about the silent auction

-Program is doing well getting powerpoints for posting.  Final speaker letters will be going out shortly.  There will be no speaker packets, speakers will simply be instructed to stop at the registration desk to get their name tag and lunch ticket.

-Spring Training:  Paula and Lee are coordinating.  We decided balloons will identify vendors that are a part of spring training.  Lee will take care of that.  A question on spring training will be included on the final eval and vendor eval (Cheryl).  Participants in spring training will have a separate ticket in their packet.

-JoAnn will check on a volunteer to help coordinate the book sales for Dr. Anderson

We will still need to determine numbers as we get closer!  Next meeting May 6th for packet stuffing!
